During the course of your Ocean Initiative, did you find and collect biocarriers? | No |
Do not hesitate to ask us questions about the wastes you have found or to write us anything that seems useful for the Ocean Initiatives. Feel free, the best ideas never remain stowed in the drawers. | The waste collected in the Meaques stream surroundings comes mainly from nearby urban areas, recreational activities and runoff from rainwater that carried litter into the waterway. No urban areas are upstream but the following urban areas are close to the river bed: Campamento neighbourhood and Colonia Jardín & Batán. During the cleanup we also collected around 50L of non-recyclable waste (mainly dirty paper tissues). |
