International Coastal Clean-up 2018

Description

KMFRI Marine Debris Volunteer Program together with County Government of Mombasa, Mkomani Beach Management Unit, Oceans Conservancy, KWS, WWF, CORDIO East Africa, Saving Mother Earth, Technical University of Mombasa Environmental Club and several schools in the region will conduct a clean-up event on 15th September along the beaches in Mombasa to commemorate the International Coastal Clean-up day. You are all invited to participate and help keep our environment clean and protect marine wildlife from the harmful effects of marine litter and the productivity of our oceans. The event speeches and finalization for all the different groups will be conducted at Bamburi Pirates Beach. Purpose to attend and learn more about marine debris from the professionals.
